Teddy accidentally turned Penny into a stone statue. He and Kathleen found a reverse spell that needed four things. The third one is a single feather from Abraham Lincoln. So Jack and Annie had to go to the White House in the past.
Jack and Annie met Tad. Tad gave them his word to meet straight to the president.
Tad took Jack to the president’s dressing room. As the dressing room door opened, they scrambled under the bed to hide. And then, Tad crawled silently out from under the bed and tackled the president.
Jack scrambled out of the bed. They saw a crowd of people waiting to meet the president.
The president didn’t have private time to meet Jack and Annie alone. So, they took a sip of the potion to make a wish- to meet Abraham Lincoln alone.
They landed in the countryside and met Sam.
Sam was kicked in the head. Jack and Annie took him home and took care of him.
Jack and Annie wanted to help Sam with his chores, but they couldn’t pick up the ax, milk the cow, and get water from the spring.
Sam did all the chores and asked them to give him a test.
Sam handed Jack the quill pen and the ink bottle.
