A girl called Charlie Reese, who had just moved from Raleigh to Colby because his dad was in jail for hitting and kicking people. Now she lives with his aunt and uncle. When she attendees the new school, she met a boy name Howard who became her friend. She also kept a slay dog that she found and named it wishbone. Every now and then, she would make a wish whenever she saw something that is under her list of things that when you saw, you can wish for. I think this book is very creative with the wishes and I strongly recommend this book to you.
