你或許還不知道上一期那本風(fēng)靡全球的繪本《What Do You Do With An Idea? 》還有中文版吧?

這次,讓我們一起來感受一下中文朗讀的魅力吧!

其實(shí),今天Readaroo還想跟大家聊聊做這個(gè)平臺(tái)的另一個(gè)初衷 – 那就是“悟”。除了Read Aloud (讀出聲),Readaroo還呼吁小朋友們 Think Aloud (悟出聲)。

什么是Think Aloud? 為什么要Think Aloud?
 

先從Fake Reading說起吧。
 

有一種閱讀方式叫做Fake Reading,也就是“假閱讀”。說的是讀書時(shí),可以讀得很快很順暢,可以每個(gè)字都讀出來,但是,沒怎么過腦

問個(gè)問題吧,不知道怎么答;聊個(gè)細(xì)節(jié)吧,能說上幾句又說不深; 給個(gè)評(píng)論吧,沒有任何想法。書確實(shí)是讀了,但腦中沒留下任何痕跡。

類似這樣的閱讀方式就是Fake Reading,也被稱為 Robot Reading(機(jī)器人閱讀), 即只是機(jī)械地把注意力放在了Text(文字)上,而忽略了Thinking(悟/思考)。

有假就有真,那什么又是“真閱讀”?
 

“真閱讀”,就是邊讀邊想,Reading+Thinking,讀文字的同時(shí),腦中非?;钴S地冒出各種問題并表達(dá)出來,這就是Readaroo倡導(dǎo)的 Think Aloud.
 

在美國(guó),Think Aloud已經(jīng)成了一種教學(xué)法,幫助小朋友有效提高閱讀理解能力。

“With Think Aloud strategy, teachers verbalize aloud while reading a selection orally. Their verbalizations include describing things they're doing as they read to monitor their comprehension. The purpose of the think aloud strategy is to model for students how skilled readers construct meaning from a text.

通過Think Aloud策略,老師在朗讀書本的同時(shí)配合具像化思維表述,包括表述他們?cè)陂喿x時(shí)為把控閱讀理解所做的事情。Think Aloud策略的目的是為了給學(xué)生示范有技巧的閱讀者是如何從文本中構(gòu)建意義的?!?/strong>

那么又該怎樣開啟Think Aloud的思維模式呢?

Read Aloud(讀)和Think Aloud(悟)是相輔相承的,讀出聲幫助思考,悟出聲幫助理解,表達(dá)和演繹。

在鼓勵(lì)小朋友獨(dú)立Think Aloud的同時(shí),家長(zhǎng)也可以通過同樣的思維模式跟小朋友互動(dòng)。

下面就以這本《What Do You Do With An Idea? 》為例,給大家參考一下如何Think Aloud吧!

Predicting 猜想

· What does the title mean?  

· What do you think this story will be about?

· What do you predict the boy will do with his idea?

NO.2

Questioning 疑問

·  Why did the boy walk away from his idea at first? 

·  What does the word fragile mean?

·  Why was the boy excited when his idea showed him how to walk on his hands? 

NO.3

Visualizing 具像

·  Why do you think the boy’s idea is taking the form of an egg? 

·  Did you notice the “egg” (idea) getting bigger? Why is it getting bigger?

NO.4

Response 反饋

·  What’s your favorite part of this story?

·  Do you agree when the idea says “it is good to have the ability to see things differently.”Why?

NO.5

Clarifying 梳理

·  Did you get confused when the idea wanted food and attention from the boy? 

·  Did you expect people’s response when the boy showed his idea to others?

NO.6

Summarizing 總結(jié)

·  What is this story mainly about?

·  Describe the boy’s mood throughout the story. 

NO.7

Reflecting 反思

·  Which idea would help “change the world”- Buying a toy from a store or recycling an old toy you have?  Why? 

·  The book states with each idea, “You change the world”. What is your idea to change the world?  Make a poster. 

·  What form would your idea take? Create a picture and share why you chose that object.  

NO.8

Connecting 聯(lián)系

·  Think of a time when you had an idea that you believed in, but other people did not. Describe how it made you feel and explain what you did.  

·  Research a few famous inventors such as Alexander Graham Bell and create a presentation to teach others about the invention and inventor. 

·  There is a song titled“Change the World” by Eric Clapton. Analyze the lyrics and apply the message from the book to the lyrics.
