這本書媽媽本人很喜歡，是個溫暖賦予愛的故事。孩子想要讓媽媽開心，鼓勵媽媽跟她一樣，規(guī)劃玩樂日，當媽媽出門後，跟鄰居奶奶及朋友們，一起用粉筆作畫，畫上美麗的畫面和花朵，希望媽媽開心。最後雨沖刷了粉筆的畫面，但留下繽紛的顏色，也趕走了憂鬱（已沒有藍色了）
喜歡裡面用陽光蓋住媽媽的藍色臉，讓媽媽變成綠色的，這剛好是媽媽最喜歡的顏色。隱喻得很美且溫暖，看了好舒服。包包可能不懂blue代表情緒的意義，等到之後大一點，可以再慢慢加進去解釋。
但書中講了好多的I’m chalking up a gray day. 感覺很隱喻，也找不到片語的說法，但能懂大概的含義。陰天在外畫地板...
