這是牛津閱讀樹L1+中的一本，但一階中又有很多細(xì)分的系列，這個是屬于Patterned stories。全文就反復(fù)重復(fù)一個句子:Mum was a scarecrow，Biff was a pirate……但只要配上圖畫，孩子就直接能理解這句話的意思了，覺得牛津樹這套書的編寫就是厲害在這兒！
另外，通過這本書還可以向孩子介紹一下化妝舞會是什么樣的，也了解一些國外的文化背景。
