這本書花了點時間和兒子精讀了一遍。書中介紹了meteors的形成、來源，落到地球上隕石的形態(tài)、成分、以及辨別隕石的主要特征等，最后還不忘鼓動小盆友做隕石的發(fā)現(xiàn)者，投身科學(xué)研究。雖然篇幅有限，很多的東西無法展開進行更多的說明，比如關(guān)于Kuiper belt（柯伊伯帶）和Oort cloud（奧爾特云）的解釋就不多，為了更好的理解，和兒子還查詢了一些資料。但結(jié)構(gòu)層次分明，用詞簡單而不失嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)，文末還有7道閱讀檢測題，算是對閱讀的反饋。
