第一次讀meg系列，故事非常有趣，詞匯量雖然不大，但是對老母親來說還是有些難度的，比如一些園藝的詞匯，能看懂，但是用不地道：Meg fetched the muck,Mog dug the earth,owl raked it smooth.比如Wellington boots and Mackintosh，比如They made a huge compost heap,堆肥堆這個詞是老母親第一次見！
