Monkey, monkey, where are you? I'm buying some popcorn. Popcorn? Do you like popcorn better or ice cream better? Ice cream, ice cream. Yeah, today we are gonna read this book, The Ice cream. 
Look, this is the ice cream. So yummy! What's your favorite flavor? I like chocolate flavor. How about you? OK, all kinds of flavors, right? Let's get started.  

Page 1 
Look, this is the beach again. And there is the ice cream van. Can I get an ice cream? Kipper is thinking, I want to eat some ice cream. Yes, I can! Of course , I am going to get an ice cream.  

Page 2-3 
Come on , run to the ice cream van. Look, this is the ice cream van. And this man is selling ice cream. Look, Kipper is running. Run to the ice cream van. Look, they're playing a ball.  

Page 4-5 
And then, there they are, Biff, Chip and Kipper. I want that big one, says Kipper. And then, this man says, here you are, enjoy. Ah, Look at that, it's so big! It got cookies on top, um, so yummy!  
Everyone is so happy. What kind of ice cream do you want? I want a big one! Yes, I want the big one, too. And Look，this girl is playing this ball, spinning it.

And then, Look out, Kipper! What happened to Kipper? Kipper tripped over the ball. Where does the ball come? Oh, this girl is playing this ball.  
And then, I know what happened. The girl dropped the ball and then, Kipper tripped over it. Oh no, Look at the ice cream,  the ice cream is flying away! Oh, no!

Ah-oh, splat! This is bad. Look, this man was lying here, comfortably in the sun. And the next second, bang! Ice cream is on his head. Sorry, man. Haha, that's so funny. Look at him, he is laughing.  
And then, Kipper got, oh no! What do you think Kipper is thinking? Kipper is feeling sorry. What do you think Kipper should do? Clean it? Of course. And said, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry.  
OK, monkey, it's time to read the book with me. Are you ready? Let's go! 

Ask and answer

1, (P1) OK, what are they doing? Sandcastle.

2, (P2-3) And then, what's this? It's an ice cream van, you can buy ice cream here.

3, (P4-5) And then, what's this? It's a big ice cream.

4, (P6-7) And now what happened to Kipper? He tripped over the ball.

5, (P8)  And then what happened to this man? The ice cream fell on his head. What should Kipper say? Monkey, what should Kipper say? I'm sorry. 
OK, why don't we go and enjoy a big ice cream? Bye, everyone.
